Tea picker doing household work

Taken from a moving car, I saw this scene in the middle of a desert.
The plane sits by the side of the road, abandoned, as is the one-time airport that it last landed on.
Locals told me later that this long-abandoned airport was once the hub of all courier flights that came into the region.
Even though the scene's biggest poser is a relic of a bygone era - the scene around it harks to the birth of a new Time.
An overlooked reality!
The warmth of a genuine smile can brighten the coldest, dreariest winter day.
I most enjoy street photography for the connection one can make in a jiffy, and elicit the most charming stories - of life, lives and livelihoods.
This man wasn’t always a cobbler, he was an artisan, but set up this shop to deliver his craft firsthand, to cut out the middleman - to earn more to marry off his daughter.
I still smile when I see this photo and remember his story, and the cup of tea we shared sitting by the roadside on hyper-busy expressway

Oreos weren't the heroes of this story (though they were the protagonist)... simple human values and the pure love of childhood were!
